Purchased from a private source in the late 80's, this superb Tanto is 36cm in length from the Machi to kissaki, is so finely mounted it makes one's mouth water......... Gold Menuki of Samurai. Gold/Shakudo F&K with Samurai {Noticr that on the Fuchi the Samurai leans over the Ito. Shakudo  Tsuba with Gilt Mimi and gilded Mon {One missing}.
The saya  with inlaid sliced stone while the Kojiri is of Shibuichi.........with a Shibuichi Kokiri.
The blade although unsigned (I think it is O'Suriage) is of the very finest work, the Hda is so good the next photo's will show you a master piece of Swordsmiths work...( If I can photgraph well<> Note that this  has almost identical mouts to those on the Daisho for sale.....take alook by clicking the link button.........

Unokobi Zukuri,33.5cm, Naginata & So hi. Ura has a horimono of Ken & Varja.

In good but faded polish,Suguha Hamon, some tiny old rust pits but no major problems with this pretty spectacular shin Shinto blade.
